Creation Museum Field Trip

We were able to take a nice visit to the Creation Museum, in Petersburg, KY.  It was a wonderful trip the whole family loved.  Starting at Creation and going through Noah’s Ark, to the Cross, it was a wonderful experience for us all. The Best Way to Start the Day

I have many happy homeschooling memories, from my childhood.  In my house, I was my mother’s alarm clock.  I know that she did not always love that, but I certainly did.  The memories I have of our mornings together have had quite the impact on my life with my own kids.  I can see how the things we did to start the day had a profound impact on the rest of the day. Our world today is so fast paced and technology driven.  Sometimes it is best to slow down and spend time as a family in nature.  By unplugging, we are able to teach our children how to live.  We teach them what is important in life.  They gain life skills that they can fall back on and they learn recreational activities that can develop into hobbies that define who they are.  We take them beyond everyday safety and experiences and help them to grow.
